WE ARE NOT OURS BUT 'HIS'

Ours = Thyself

His = The Father's

As human beings, we have different personas. Some strong, others... not so strong.

For instance, advising me to do something contrary to what I set my mind to do would be a complete waste of time. With such an attitude, it prevents us from hearing the voice of God.

Sometimes I find myself at crossroads with my desires and the will of God. It can be really tough, but when you welcome Jesus into your life, you have to realize that you’re not yours anymore. The spirit of God is activated in you and takes over your endeavours.

The Christian doctrine of salvation is eternal spiritual deliverance. The key word there is ‘eternal’, which means undying, unending, and permanent. You may relapse, but you have one tool; prayer. Make it a habit to pray and or study your bible regardless of your mood at the appointed time.

Prayer: Lord God, I call upon you to reduce me and increase you in every area of my life. Help and strengthen me to be steadfast in this personal race. Amen.
